You see there are a couple things here that are very important,
first that Paul and Apollos are working on the same gospel.
Second, they are become nothing in their works unless God giveth
the increase. If you are in a church and are stagnant, you should
pull yourself from it. You are not to be unequally yoked with
unbelievers... No Exceptions... They are pulling you down and
robbing you of your reward at the Judgment seat of Christ. If
you are striving for the work of God and it is real, he will
give the increase.
There are people who spend their entire lives satisfied with
eloquent speeches. Most of the sermons I see on TV these days
are geared for one reason (you know what it is). They deceive
you with fair speeches and beautiful stories. Power that is
in you to make YOU great. Positive thinking, self-esteem, adoration
for mankind.... There is nothing wrong with all this but it
all has its place and that’s certainly not in Church...
These pastors will be judged on what they have stood in the
pulpits and preached to you. Pray for them will you?
The church and its people are being robbed of rewards unspeakable
in these last days. How are we going to feel when we stand before
God and he asks what we have done with our life for him? It
will be as the story of the man who gave the servants talents
and went away and came back to see what they had done with their
gifts. The one that hid his talent the Master took away and
gave it to the one with the most.
I don’t think any of us have any idea what kind of shame
it will be to stand before our God, and tell him how much we
loved him to people while we were on this earth and then for
our works to be displayed before all. What will be even worse
is if there are none to display but a bunch of words, or empty
promises, good intentions. I too will be ashamed. You see, I
didn’t know the word of God all my life. I didn’t
know what I was supposed to do with my life. I don’t think
anyone ever shared the truth with me. I went to church all my
life. But I never heard the things I am telling you today.
Satan is robbing you; get up and do something about it. You
are the temple of God. You are the church and we all need to
be of one accord. There are people out there who need you, in
whatever capacity you can give. If you are just sitting in a
dead church, get out of it. Go down to your local rescue mission,
give them some money for the hungry. Mail them a check, mail
them bibles, clothes. There are still some real ministries on
this earth who send these supplies to the needy all over the
world. Find one. Spread the Word of God. Help these people and
it will be far better for you than sitting in a quiet church
and doing nothing. Confront your pastor if he is not filling
your spiritual needs. If he cannot, I’m sorry, but get
another pastor.
Folks, there are people pouring off into hell by the thousands
while I type this message to you. I pray to God almighty you
will not be one of them. I pray you will not let the people
you know, that you haven’t witnessed to, go there. Become
a church, become a united body, time is short, so short. If
you watch the televangelist today, they will have you believe
that they are saving the entire world by the millions. If they
are, then they would all be about saved by now, wouldn’t
they? No, it’s not true. I’m sure there are people
being saved out there by these programs but the bible says in
the last days we will be in apostasy. They both can’t
be true. I choose to believe the Bible, in spite of what men
say on TV.
I want for you and me to read this verse together. 1
Corinthinans 3:1 And I brethren, could not speak unto
you as spiritual, but as unto carnal, even unto babes in Christ.
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat:
for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are
ye able. 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas
there is among you envying and strife, and divisions, are ye
not carnal, and walk as men?
It will do us all good to search out the bible and find the
meat. This is what we all need. We have been spoonfed all our
lives by people who are not overly concerned for our spiritual
growth. Read the bible, rightly divide the word of truth. Stand
on your own two feet, take a stand, make a difference. Trust
the Lord and his word. Use it in your life, unless you eat meat
you will not have the strength to feed others. It is what God
wants us all to do.
I heard a man preach on this many years ago, a brother I love
in the Lord. He will never have any idea how he has affected
my life. These next verses are also for those who want meat;
you must do this to become a spiritual leader of any magnitude.
1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spake
as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but
when I became a man, I put away childish things. Do you see
the impact of that verse? We all have to grow up and get off
the milk. It is as when we were babes we would take our dinner
and mix it all together, peas, carrots, potatoes. But after
we grew up we learned to keep them separate and not mess it
all up. You see, the bible is all for our learning and admonition,
but the bible is not all to us.
We as christians have to rightly divide the word of truth,
so we can feed the church. Put away childish things, the gospels,
that are not for the church today. Come out from among them
and be ye separate and touch not the unclean thing.
All these things I have told you tonight are the truth. My
hands are clean. If you will read your bible and begin to fully
understand it, it will become real to you and others around
you. His word is all that’s truth on this earth. There
is nothing that will stand against it.

I will do my best to show you the truth. We believe the word
of God. We believe that Jesus Christ died for OUR sins. We believe
that he was buried and rose again on the third day according
to the scriptures. He died in our place and set us free. Plus
or minus...nothing. Just accept what he did for us on Calvary,
it is all you need to do. Faith. You are FREE, go and make a
difference for him today... This is meat.
