The Lord speaking to the woman at the well and she started
a religious argument with Him John 4:21 Jesus
saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye
shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship
the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what:
we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23
But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall
worship the Father in spirit and truth: The woman was trying
to push religion at the Lord and he told her, She worshipped
she knows not what. I know many people who are in this same
category today. If you try to witness to them they will spear
you with their Religion instead of the Word of the Lord.
Ok, now to Idol Worship. If people are religious and they still
don’t know what they worship then the world is in terrible
state. Either they don’t know the truth or don’t
want to know it, above are two examples. One is religious leaders
that don’t know what they worship, although they think
they do. The other is an example of a person who either is religious
or knows someone who is and takes their word for it. However,
they are the blind leading the blind...and they will both fall
in the ditch.
The Apostle Paul on a visit to Athens, Greece was preaching,
he saw the whole city was given to Idolatry. Acts 17:18
Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoics,
encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say?
other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods:
be because he preached unto them Jesus and the resurrection.
Have you ever witnessed to someone that thinks they know it
all, all the philosophy about life, the here-after. What they
think spiritualism is? What God is? I have and it seems at times
you cannot reach them. The have preconceived Ideas, learned
people, self-righteous people who find pleasure in statues or
spirit guides, crystals, charms, dreams, witchcraft, mediums,
angels, the list goes on. They are all form of Idol worship.
That having a form of Godliness, deny the power thereof. If
you try to witness to them it is a foreign thing to them, Such
was the case of these people at Athens.
Verse 19 And they took him, and brought him
unto Areopagus, saying, may we know what this new doctrine,
whereof thou speakest, is? 20 For thou bringest
certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore
what these things mean. 21 (For all the Athenians
and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else,
but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.) GOSSIP!!!, sounds
like the town I live in.
Verse 22 Then Paul stood in the middle of
Mars hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all
things you are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld
your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE
UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him I declare
unto you. 24 God made the world and all things
therein, seeing he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not
in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshipped
with men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing
he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; Another crowd
who had their own religion, call it what you will, if you are
not worshipping God through Jesus Christ and Him alone, it won’t
do you any good.
I know a lot of religions today that still adopt some to these
things I have mentioned today; I would like you to search your
heart and OPEN your eyes and make sure you are not ignorantly
worshipping... ye know not what. Below is some scripture that
will help you in you search of Churches to stay out of. I am
sorry, you must hear this. If only one of you as my reader today
sees the truth in this, leaves the religion I am talking about
and becomes saved, then all this will be worth it, not to me
but for them and the people they can bring out with them and
all for the Glory of the Lord.
Ezekiel 8:3 And he put forth the form of an
hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted
me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the
visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that
looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of
jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy. Verse 6
He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they
do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth
here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee
yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations. 7
And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked,
behold a hole in the wall. 8 Then he said unto
me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations they do there.
10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form
of creping things and abominable beasts, and all the idols of
the house of Israel, portrayed upon the wall round about. ...
(Statues, pictures, beasts.)
Verse 12 Then he said unto me, Son of man,
hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in
the dark, and every man in the chambers of his imagery? for
they say, The Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the
earth. You can figure this one out, I don’t want to say
it
Verse 13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet
again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate
of the Lord’s house which toward the north; and, behold,
there sat a woman weeping for Tammuz. (Babylonian fertility
god.)

16 And he brought me into the inner court
of the Lord’s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple
of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five
and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord,
and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun
toward the east. (BAAL WORSHIP)
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west, morning services
in these churches are basically the same as they were three
thousand years ago, except today, it is called SUNRISE SERVICE,
they have priests, and idols.
If you are caught up in a denomination with these practices,
don’t wait until some one shows you the way out... RUN
for your very life. If you are attending one of these churches,
you will see and know what is in these verses for you today.
God’s wrath is surely upon you.
If I have offended anyone today then I hope you will come back
anyway until you see the truth. We will try to show you something
about the Lord and his Love or His wrath weekly and examine
your heart, and pray to the Lord to show you the way out. Jesus
Christ died for your sins, he took you place and his blood covers
us. He pardoned you and I on a criminals cross. Believe that
God hath raised him from the dead and thou shalt be saved.
