The one thing I do know is there is a lot of controversy about
when, before the beginning of the tribulation, at the beginning
of the Tribulation, shortly after it starts, in the middle,
or five minutes before the end or what have you. I would like
to show you today what the Bible says about it. The Apostle
Paul mentions in 1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I show you a mystery;
We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a
moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the
trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed. In these two verses a mystery is revealed.
The Apostle Paul describes the events that will take place concerning
the rapture(s). In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye and
at the last trump. The word" trump" is only mentioned
two times in the Bible, both by the Apostle Paul. 1 Thessalonians
4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
(End of statement) and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
(Separate statement) 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall
be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord
in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Ok, before I get into this today, I would like to point out
that if you are saved, you will NOT go through the Tribulation.
It is plain and simple, things could get fairly gloomy before
we are caught out, but you will not go through the wrath or
enter it, so you can stop fretting and put it behind you and
let’s get on with the work we are supposed to be doing
until the Lord comes for us. (Not Michael the Archangel—the
LORD!!!) In Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by
his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. (The Lord!)
When He (The Lord) shall descend from heaven with a shout! Notice
a VERY important word here. FROM! Not saved out-of or at the
middle of, but FROM wrath. It means before. 1 Thessalonians
5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation
by our Lord Jesus Christ. Isn’t it interesting these are
the same chapter and verse? (and written by the apostle Paul)
Now, I would like to show you something a man showed me once
in the Bible and it always cleared up the confusion for me anyway;
oh, people may not agree with it but nonetheless, it won’t
change the facts. If you read the verse in 1 Thessalonians 4:16
and pray for God to open your eyes to this, You will see clearly,
THREE separate events. 1. For the Lord himself shall descend
from heaven with a shout. 2. With the voice of an archangel.
3. And with the trump of God.
1. The Lord himself shall descend with a shout. When the Lord
himself descends with a shout, he won’t need to send an
archangel to do it. Also, am I to believe that after he came
and died on a cross for me that he would send someone else for
me? No, we are the Lord’s Glory, his prized possession
and he will come and bring us unto himself.
2. So wither the archangel Michael? Why does the Lord send
him? Two reasons. 1. We will be having a well planned dinner
with the Lord when Michael’s job begins. We will be with
the Lord for a seven-year period while the tribulation is going
on... The Lord will send the Archangel to rapture the 144,000
(the voice of the archangel) as they will be Jewish. You see
Michael is in charge of the Jews at that time; I'm fairly certain
he has been their overseer for some time. Read with me in Daniel
12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince
which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall
be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation
even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be
delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
At what time? The tribulation. Several parts I can see, the
war with the dragon (Rev. 12:7) and rapture (Rev. 14:1). Revelation
7: 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there
were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the
tribes and the children of Israel. (Jews, Priests.) Rev. 14:1
And I looked and lo, a Lamb stood on mount Sion, and with him,
an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s
name written their foreheads. Verse 3 And they sung as it were
a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, (They
are in heaven at this point.)
Notice a few things in this verse; it says that Michael is
the great prince which standeth for the children of THY people.
When Daniel was making this reference there are two more things
to note. 1 Israel is a nation. 2. Thy people as referred to
by Daniel were always Jewish... These were the Lord’s
people and they will be referenced as such in the upcoming tribulation.
If you would like more references to see if this is true, look
these up: Daniel 10:13, 10:21, Jude 1:9, and Rev. 12:7.
Ok, now for number three, With the trump of God. The finish.
The end of the tribulation. Revelation 8:6 And the seven angels
which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. Rev.10:7
But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall
begin to sound, the Mystery of God should be finished, as he
hath declared unto his servants the prophets. This is the Last
trump! There is a mystery in this trump; I have tried to find
it for years. It is something in the seven thunders that utter
their voices. But John was told to seal them up until the Mystery
of God be finished. Rev. 10:4.
I do pray today you may have learned some things from this.
I pray for the quick return of the Lord. I await his call. I
pray if you have loved ones that are not saved, turn quickly
to them for time is short. Spend it doing the work of an Evangelists.
With all your heart. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou
shalt be saved! Amen!
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Michael
