The Rich Young Ruler
January 12, 2004

Hello everyone, and thank you for being here again today. I would like to discuss with you today about the Churches that teach following the Apostles of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John for their salvation and works today. I know this will upset a lot of you but I will keep putting it up on the web until you SEE the truth here. The books of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John are eyewitness accounts of Christ’s life and ministry while he was here on earth. They are excellent books and it would behoove us all to try to pattern our daily life from them. However, you cannot be saved by any of them. The works, miracles, and baptism practices they kept in those days are absolutely not for the Church today as far as your salvation is concerned.

If you insist on them being your Church doctrine then I will ask you to read these following verses and think about them. They are by no means all of them. If you really want to know your Bible and your plan of Salvation you will have to go over into where the Lord shone down around Paul from heaven and gave him the message to the Gentiles. I have written some of this to you before and I hope you can see some light in this today. Again, I haven’t any other reason to tell you these things, other than they are the truth.

Luke 18:18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest me good? none is good save one, that is God. 20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor thy father and mother. 21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. 22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. 23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

Do you have a grasp of that verse? The man that was speaking to the Lord had kept the commandments from his youth up, yet he walked away and went to hell. Why, even though he had kept the commandments and offered sacrifices for his sins, it wasn’t enough to have eternal life... He had to sell out everything he owned and give it to the poor and then follow the Lord to have eternal life...

Question, How many of you in the Church that practice the doctrine in Mat. Mark, Luke and John have a bank account? Then what of this verse, shall your preacher just skip over that one? Or will he use it to make you bring him your money? (Think about it.)

If you believe in this practice will you please sell everything you have and send it to me? I am poor. I don’t think you will. I also don’t like to hear preachers use the verse to get money from the parishioners, but they do it.

Mark 7:25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell down at his feet: 26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophonecian by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth a devil out of her daughter. 27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread and cast it unto the dogs. 28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs. 29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter laid upon the bed.

Ok, I will let you think about this one a moment. Finished? OK, The woman was a Greek (gentile). She was not in the covenants of promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. She was a gentile and as such had no part in salvation or anything else associated with the teachings of that day. What difference does that make? You and I are gentiles and if we had been alive back then we would have been in the same condition (spiritually) as she and the other gentiles were. Watch and I will show you something a man showed me early on. The Lord said, Let the children (Israel) first be filled. For it is not meet to take the children’s bread (Message to Israel) and cast it unto the dogs. He basically called her a dog. (gentiles) We were referred to as dogs then. It’s true. There is another example of this in Matthew which is even more astonishing, Matthew 15:22 And behold a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. 25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

Slice it up anyway you want to, it is the same. Again, 15:22 And behold a woman of Canaan, (gentile) came out of the same coasts saying, Verse 23 He answered her not a word. Jesus would not even speak to her, (How can you not see this?) And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. Can you imagine that? Is that what your Church does? The Apostles asked the Lord to get rid of her, she was bothering them and Jesus, at first, answered her not a word. Why? She was outside the covenants of promise. She had no part in the Church of that day and if we had been there we would not have either... 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (How much plainer can it get folks?) Why did the Lord then remove the devil from her daughter anyway? 25 Then she came and worshipped him, (She realized that he was the Lord), thou son of David; 27 And she said, truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs that fall from their master's table. She knew the only way to get through was to be in THE HOUSE! She acknowledged that He was Lord, thou son of David and she realized that if she were to get the crumbs she had to be in the house. But don’t let me put words into your mouth. If you are having a problem with this or the doctrine of your Church, then fall down on your knees right now and ask God in all sincerity to show you what I am saying. You preachers out there, you had better get right, if you are teaching your flock wrong today and using the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to keep the money rolling in for your congregation to build a bigger better Church every week, then you have a Big surprise coming at the Judgment seat of Christ. I have no, none, not any qualms about exposing you to your Church. You are lying to them, robbing them and causing many of them to wake up in hell and I haven’t any sympathy for you. Shame on you! You know who I’m talking too. Turn from your ways and change it, give life back to the Church, turn from this and bring your people out into the light.

What was the mission of the 12?

You’re really going to have a hard time with this one.

Mathew 10 Verse 5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Does this verse scare you? It should if you are following this. Go NOT in the way of the gentiles. That just didn’t mean for that particular week, it meant until the end. It was a COMMANDMENT of the LORD. How are you going to preach to gentiles today? If the Nation Israel must first be fed? Where can I find my salvation in those books? Where can you find yours?

Thank you, folks, that is all for today. Your salvation came through the Apostle Paul FROM the Lord Jesus Christ. By what Christ had done for us at Calvary. That is the only way. If someone is telling you anything else, you need to study your Bible. I pray for all to see this. Time is short. Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Amen, and Amen. No works in that verse, no baptism, no denomination. Faith.

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem,

Pray for the leadership of our Country, Schools and our Churches.
