First of all, what is sin? The BIBLE says, 1 John 3:4 Whosoever
committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression
of the law.
Ok, now we know what sin is, or do we? What have you been taught
in your church? Keep the 10 commandments? Only? Ok, first of
all, NO ONE ever kept the law perfectly except Jesus Christ.
So let me ask you, How do you think you can do it?
Now that we have that out of the way, go back to the Book of
Leviticus and read the whole book and look at all the statutes
set forth to the children of Israel and see if you can keep
those too. Do you cook on Saturday? Do you eat pork? Do you
eat animals with cloven hoofs that chew the cud? Do you eat
shellfish? Do you walk on Saturday? Do you work on Saturday?
That’s just a few. Do you see what I am saying?
Let me ask you something else. If you were the children of
Israel back then, how could they keep the law? The answer is
simple; they could not. One time a year the trumpets would blow
and the Nation of Israel would gather around the temple, a High
Priest would offer a blood sacrifice to ATONE for their sins,
not forgive them. They were only put in remission until a day
in the future when as it says in Romans 11:26 And so all Israel
shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion
the deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27
For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their
sins.
Ok, two more questions. Where is your sacrifice? Do you let
your priest take a stupid wafer and say some words over it and
call it the body of Christ? Does he also say more useless words
over wine and make it be the blood of the Lord for your sacrifice?
I have found if you put chocolate syrup on the wafers they
taste better, and why is it only the priest gets to drink the
wine anyway?
No folks, there are no high priests today. Sorry. Not according
to my Bible. There is only One, Jesus Christ.
There are no blood sacrifices by priests today that are worthy
to God almighty and the blood of animals could never take away
sins anyway. Want to see that verse also? Hebrews 10:4 For it
is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats should take
away sins.
Priest? Hebrews 10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering
and offering oftentimes the same sacrifice which can never take
away sins.
Folks, I am not being sarcastic here, I am just trying to get
you to think for yourselves. If your church has these practices,
get out of it and stay out of it. I am trying to show you the
nonsense that is going on in this world today and it is being
led by the spirit of the devil. These churches, most of them,
don’t have the first inkling of what is means to be saved,
so pray tell, how can they tell you?
Ok, let’s look at man in general terms of his condition
today.
1. Adam sinned in the garden of Eden, so sin passed upon ALL
men.
2. Romans 3:12 There is none that doeth good, no, not one.
3. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory
of God;
4. The payment for transgressing the law is DEATH.
Not a very uplifting picture, is it? This is what I am trying
to show you; you cannot save yourself, you cannot get your sins
forgiven by doing or being good. Ephesians 2:9 Not of works,
lest any man should boast. A priest cannot have your sins forgiven.
So what can you do. You cannot get your sins forgiven by going
to church. Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things
therein, seeing that he is Lord of Heaven and earth, dwelleth
not in temples made with hands. 25 Neither is worshipped with
men’s hands as though he needeth any thing, seeing he
giveth to all life, and breath, and all things.
So let me ask you, where does that leave you today? I mean
right now, this minute? It is a pretty condemned state, isn’t
it? The point I’m trying to make here is, you cannot save
yourself. There is a God, there is going to come a judgment
and if you are not saved you will be cast directly into hell,
make no mistake about it. This is for all the people out there
who are in a church that are being taught to keep the law today.
Do your pastors tell you of these verses? No? Why not? I’ll
tell you why, because the Word of God would expose them for
what they are. The other reason is, they would cause you to
leave the church fairly quickly preaching this kind of message
Sunday after Sunday. It scares people and it should. We are
condemned from the time we are born but you don’t have
to stay that way.
There are churches that preach 1 John 1:9 If we confess our
sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Okay, let me ask you something
else. What if you forgot to confess ONE of your sins? Think
that would be ok with God? No, it wouldn’t. God cannot
pardon a condemned man.
Still think you can go to heaven by keeping the Law? James
2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law and offend in one
point, he is guilty of all.
Well, I don’t know what else I need to add to this except,
if you don’t have these verses in your bible, then you’re
not reading out of a King James Version. You should get up and
go throw it away right now.
How do you become saved? It is so simple most people just cannot
accept it.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised
him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
What a deal! How can you pass that up? There is no baptism
in the verse, works, miracles, church membership, nothing. It
is free, all you have to do is claim it, believe it. It’s
as simple as that. Jesus Christ was made to be sin for us and
take our place on a criminals cross. God turned his back on
him and let him die in our behalf, ALL our sins were paid for
before we were ever born. Romans 8:31 What shall we then say
to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us
all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect?
It is God that justifieth:
Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath he quickened
us together with Christ, ( by grace are ye saved;) 6 And hath
raised us up together to sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Folks, if you are in a church that teaches works for your salvation,
get out of it. You cannot sell the blood of Christ and you cannot
transform some stupid wafer into anything holy. Jesus Christ
is our Great High Priest and you don’t have to have someone
else to pray to him for you. Jesus made it possible to pray
directly to him when He died for our sins. You have direct access
to him. If your priest can get to God better that you can, or
your pastor, then ask them to explain this verse to you.
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:
for we know not what to pray for as we ought: but the Spirit
itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot
be uttered.
You see, if you are saved, the Holy Spirit reads your heart
and speaks to God for you, even if you don’t know what
or how to ask it. I don’t see any special provision in
there for some of these so called preachers that will pray for
your letters, etc. They don’t have any more power to pray
than you do. So I suggest tonight to settle it once and for
all in your heart to be truly saved.
Being truly saved is believing Jesus died for your sins and
that NOTHING else will get you into Glory with him. It means
being able to leave this life right now without any hesitation,
not counting on works, church membership, confessing your sins
daily or how GOOD you are, it is simply TRUST.

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, for one day, we will reign
