Those are very refreshing words, aren’t they? In a world
gone mad, they are very comforting. It says charity is the bond
of perfectness. The verses also bear out to stop striving with
your fellow man and to be charitable and longsuffering as Christ
is with us.
This week I would like to ask each one of us to try to make
this world a better place to live by acting upon these deeds.
Folks, there’s not much time left; if you know anyone
who is not saved, pray for them or witness to them. Take some
time this coming week and mend broken relationships and be kind
toward your fellow man. Help the needy and the children in any
capacity you can. Pray for the lost, visit the sick and pray
for unity of the Spirit of God in the Church, or what’s
left of it.
We are living in a dying country void of the Word of God rightly
divided or next to it. This country has continually gone downhill
since the sixties. I know; I have watched it firsthand. I will
pray for this country and ask God to be longsuffering a little
while longer. Perhaps there is a spiritual revival on the horizon
yet, though I do not see it. I am not looking at only the poor
values of this country and its people; I just don’t see
a lot of light out there anymore. People are just for themselves
now, for the most part. Give this week to the Lord, folks, and
pray for our country as you never have before.
The most important decision in anyone’s life is whether
or not they will trust the Lord as their savior; everything
else is just secondary. We are here for but a short while and
there in the future looms eternal glory or eternal damnation,
it is true. The works we do after we are saved will be rewarded.
I heard the story of the Good Samaritan again today, I wish
to God there were more people like the man that stopped to help
his fellow man in need. Folks, there are people out there that
need us; will you go today? The Lord died for all of us on a
cross meant for criminals; it was our pardon, He took our place
and let us go free. What will you do for Him today? It`s not
as hard as you think.
I would like to mention a man I have known a while. He and
his family are the most genuine group of people I have met in
quite some time. They HELP needy people, I mean really help
them. I would like to ask each one of you that reads this today
to go to his site and see if you have any items you would care
to donate to hungry and needy people. It costs you nothing.
Nothing. Just click on my links
and go to the Helping Hands Project and you can truly help feed
children and adults and supply your fellow man with the substance
of Life, physically and spiritually. I can assure you, no good
thing you do for your fellow man goes unnoticed By God Almighty.
You will be repaid for it.
17 And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do it all in the
name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father
by him.
You can also witness to someone this week. It is so simple.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and believe in thine heart God has raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved.
Thank you for being here with us today. I pray God bless each
one of you for it. Tell someone about us and stay here won’t
you?
