Let’s see what the Bible says about these events. Mark
5:8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean
spirit. 9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered,
saying, My name is legion: for we are many.13 And forthwith
Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and
entered into the swine. I would like you to note that Jesus
Himself cast these demons out, and if you read the whole chapter
you will see the unclean spirits Knew that it was Jesus the
Son of God. If you will continue to read after the unclean spirits
left the man, He was found fully clothed sitting in his right
mind. That is the sign of a true healing by God, not part healing
as many profess today. I have seen people that claim to be healed
and ok now and I ask them, if God really healed you or the preacher
really healed you...why are you still taking medicine? No folks,
there’s something wrong out there.
Ok, one more, I want you to notice what happened when a person
that is not saved has a demon cast out of him or her and continues
not to get saved. Now mind you, there are people who claim to
have devils removed and they come back; this is why. They may
have got cast out and then the healer or the preacher takes
the credit for this Great work and then they become much worse.
1. They weren’t saved in the first place. 2. The preacher
has no business practicing these great works in this day and
age.
Folks, God does the healing and miracle-working; men don’t
do it. Now I believe you can pray for someone and God can heal
them but I do not believe it is happening by these charlatans
on television. Luke 11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out
of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding
none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. 26
Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked
than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last
state of that man is worse than the first.
Another one I would like for you to look at. Please see that
you need to be very careful tarrying around in the spiritual
realm if you are not called of God to do these things; look
what could happen to you. Acts 19:14 And there were seven sons
of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
15 And the evil sprit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul
I know, but who are ye?
Notice, that they knew Jesus, and the Apostle Paul, but doesn’t
say anything about Mt. Mark, Luke or John (just a thought).
Also notice, these were priests' sons (people today who profess,
forgiveness and miracles; just another thought). 16 And the
man in whom the evil spirit was leapt on them, and overcame
them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of the
house naked and wounded.
Folks, be careful you know what you are dealing with here.
Demons are dangerous. I want to point out that if you are saved,
Demons know you, because the Lord dwells in you and if the Lord
dwells in you, how can you be demon-possessed? I do not believe
you can be, however, I do believe you can be influenced by demons
and demon-possessed people. Who are they? This will surprise
you.
Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in times past ye walked according to
the course of this world, according to the prince of the power
of the air, the spirit that now worketh disobedience: 3 Among
whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts
of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the
mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Do you know now? It’s anyone who isn’t saved. From
the most cruel murderer down to people who go to church every
Sunday and do all the Good things, if they are not saved, they
are your adversary. I know these are hard words, but they are
not mine, I didn’t like them any better than you when
I first heard them either. I want you to know right now I really
love you or I wouldn’t be doing this. I want you all to
know to be saved and to be sure before the Rapture comes folks.
The entire world is your enemy; it is run by Satan himself.
Be careful out there.
I would just like to add a note about exorcism. If you want
to cast a demon out of them, preach the gospel rightly divided
to them and let them get saved.
I would that you all would read Romans 10:9 with me again today
and use it in your daily witness won’t you. That if thou
shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved. amen and amen
