As
In the Days of Noah
June
13, 2004
Hello everyone, and thank you for coming again today. I
pray God to bless you especially for attending. You may not
think you are doing much by being here, but if you retain
any of the things I am trying to show you and study your bible,
you will become an effective witness for Christ and a teacher
of bible prophecy. It is not that I am some great person who
knows it all, quite the opposite actually; I was shown these
truths over a 30-year period and God continues to open my
eyes to them as I read and study His Word.
Why should you come here? Why should you believe me? Because
what I am teaching you is out of a King James Bible and because
it is the Word of God. That is not to say I don’t make
mistakes, I do, I am just like anyone else. But I believe
the Lord is with us. Why not most of the other ministries?
Because they have went the way of Cain. (Religion.) They have
gone into apostasy and show business. Folks, there are certainly
some people and churches out there who are teaching the Word
of God today, but they are few and far apart. I know you see
churches everywhere, but do you go into them and see what
they teach? Do you prove them as the Bereans did by searching
the scriptures to see if the things they are telling you are
so?

This week, I was in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I found a tract from
a baptist church lying in front of a house I went into. I picked
it up and as I always do, I read it to see what their doctrine
was. I was quite surprised to see a baptist church stating the
things I had seen in this tract. I read it in amazement. I know
the baptist doctrine, inside and out, but this, this, surprised
me. I will read you an excerpt from it
Cedar Rapids Baptist Church

5. You must trust Jesus' death alone to save you from hell
and take you to heaven, not anything else. If you trust being
good, doing good works, keeping the ten commandments, attending
church, or being faithful in your religion to get you into heaven,
you will certainly go to hell. These things are good but they
could never get you to heaven. Only Christ’s death satisfied
God (Isaiah 53:11). We are not saved by what we can do! We are
saved by what Jesus did when he died on the cross, and that
alone. If goodness could get us into heaven, then, Why did Jesus
Die? The bible says in Galatians 2:21 "For if righteousness
come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."
And the tract goes on and on! Folks, These people ARE preaching
the Gospel! I was so happy to see this, I almost started crying.
They never mentioned one word of baptism, works or anything
else a typical baptist church preaches for ordinances or salvation.
I was planning to attend this church one Sunday and may go soon;
I would love to hear what they are teaching in there. If it
is anything like the tract I read, That might truly be where
the Word is being taught. I do have hope and I know there are
a few people out there pushing the gospel on and haven’t
fallen by the wayside, to those I say, stay your course, you
are the only light in this dark world. Bravo! There is no mention
of the Pastor’s name anywhere on the tract. I like this
Man’s example! Whoever you are, I am sure the Lord knows
you. Thank you, brother.
I would like to point out today a couple signs before God
destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and when He destroyed
the entire world back in the days of Noah.
First, let’s look at the circumstances surrounding Lot.
2 Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into
ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample
unto those that after should live ungodly. If you will read
the story of Lot back in Genesis, you will find the whole city,
and possibly the world, was rampant with homosexuality at that
time. They were also Idolatrous.
Now, I want you to read a verse that I have never heard preached
on in this same context. 2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to
deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust
to the day of judgment to be punished: 10 But chiefly them that
walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise
government. Presumptuous are they, self willed, they are not
afraid to speak evil of dignities.
Folks, we live in a time such as this. Have you ever seen
so many people that despise their government? Our government?
Anyone’s government? Homosexuality is all over and people
are demanding equal rights for it and in most places you are
looked down on for speaking out against it in any form; it just
isn’t politically correct. Well, someday, there is a righteous
Judge coming and he will settle the matter for them as in the
days of Lot. He is the Same Judge.
Let’s look to Noah’s day. This is the one that
finally opened up to me after I pondered it for long while.
Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be
also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank,
they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day
that Noe entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them
all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did
eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they
builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained
fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even
thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Now folks, this is talking about judgment on those left at the
second coming of Christ that missed the rapture, the Lord is
going to send angles and clean out all that offend and are wicked.
But what I am trying to show you today are the events that led
up to those destructions. First and foremost, those that the
Lord Loved or who were righteous in His eyes, He saved out of
that wrath, as Lot and his family and Noah and his family. Now
what was the common denominator in the two stories? It was this,
2 Peter 2:5 And spared not he old world, but saved Noah the
eight person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood
upon the world of the ungodly.
At first glance, you might not see it, but in both these stories
there are only a FEW people saved out of the entire world. It’s
apostasy. These were the only Godly people left on the face
of the earth, people had gone their own ways and found their
own religion, I believe the situation is fast becoming that
today, There are many churches, many bibles and many preachers
and teachers, but they don’t all preach the same God,
same gospel or the same message. People are totally confused
and the Word is slowly being adulterated to where people cannot
find salvation by it any more. The antichrist should be showing
up ANY TIME NOW TO UNITE ALL THOSE BEWILDERED AND LOST PEOPLE
FOR A NEW ROUND OF WORLD EVANGELISM, IT WILL BE IN THE GUISE
OF A NEW SUPER CHURCH, SUPER GOVERNMENT.
I do hope you are making preparations for you and your loved
ones, because as in the days of Noah, we are, and just as Noah
was delivered, so will we be. You are saved, aren’t you?
Are you sure? Don’t miss the rapture, folks; it is going
to be the greatest event the world never SEEN.
