Things I Believe
August 15, 2004

Hello, and thank you for coming today. You know, there are people that read the bible and say they believe it, but do they really? I would like to mention a few things today that are baffling to most people, yet if you accept the accounts written down in the bible then you should also believe them to be true.

Case in point, I have always wondered why no one has ever dredged the bottom of the Red Sea to find relics left from when Israel crossed the Red Sea and it then closed up on Pharaoh and His Army. I have always believed they were down there. I have watched the assumed account on the History Channel about how it was possible for the wind to have drive back the Red Sea long enough for the Israelites to walk across on dry rock bottom. Somehow, that never did square with me. I know for a fact the Israelites went through the Red Sea and it was deep. It had to have been because if it was only a few feet or so, Pharaoh and His Army wouldn’t have been killed. No, somewhere down in the bottom of that sea are relics, coins, gold and silver that the pursuing Egyptian Army had on them, their personal belongings that the Sea would not have eaten away even to this day. Perhaps the link below will help show that true.

My bible also says there was an Ark prepared by Noah and it rested in the Mountains of Ararat, which is in modern day Turkey up by the North -West border of Iran. It is there, I believe it. Another account, Jericho, It lies somewhere under the rubble of the desert out there and will show up someday.

There are a few that I have personally looked for to show up someday soon that will spark a real land dispute, and that is this one. Joshua has just led the children of Israel across the Jordan River and if I got this right, there are a total of 24 stones set up over there where they crossed, 12 on the other side as they passed over and 12 more in the river Jordan. This is in Gilgal....Read with me please, Joshua 4:6 That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean you by these stones? 7 Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel forever. Let me pause here and ask you something that I think is very significant, How long is forever? Those stones are still there folks and they are going to show up. Why isn’t someone looking for them? Verse 8 And the children of Israel did so as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones out of the midst of Jordan, as the Lord spake unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them unto the place where they lodged, and laid them down there. Pause; these are the first twelve stones.

Verse 9 And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests which bare the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day. Pause; where are they? They are there unto this day... There are 24 of them total. Someday soon, they will be found, but I am sure it will be during the tribulation when the Jews will be considered "The Children Of Israel again." Because these stones are a "Sign" for them.

Another point; In Genesis at the forks of the 4 Rivers that ran out of the Garden of Eden, if you look on a map, it’s pretty much modern day Iraq, That’s where the Garden of Eden was. I want to show you something I seen when I first read it a long time ago. There is wealth untold in that area. There is gold there, a special gold, pure and different, so much so it is described. Gold is mentioned on the Angel of the Lord in Daniel 10:4 called "fine gold of Uphaz" and when Daniel saw the Angel of the Lord, the Lord was wearing it, and for what it’s worth, the Lord spoke to Daniel on the river of Hiddekel (or the Tigris) which was one of the four out of the Garden of Eden. Back to my point, I think there is Gold, untold in that area and Iraq is sitting on a literal "Gold Mine" and they don’t even know it. Why? They don’t believe this Bible. Read with me and decide for yourself. Genesis 2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence was it parted, and became into four heads. 11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah where there is gold; 12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

Believe your bible folks, it is documented by the Finger of Jesus Christ and it is real. Another thing the Bible speaks of is the rapture and I believe it is imminent; the tribulation is also, do you believe it? Do you believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of Almighty God, was crucified buried and rose again when He paid for your sins, before you were ever born? I hope you do, if not, I pray you will make this the day you trust Christ as your Savior. I pray that you do.

Love in Christ,
michael
