Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance,
being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh
all things after the council of his own will: 12 That we should
be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of
truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that
ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our redemption of the purchased possession,
unto the praise of his glory.
This is part of the letter the apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians.
If you really read the verses you will find a lot in them. We
are the PRAISE of His Glory! We, who heard the gospel of out
salvation. What was it?
1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that
which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according
to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and rose again
the third day according to the scriptures: Do you know that
if you are saved you are sealed by God Himself through the Holy
Spirit? We are, and there is nothing, I mean nothing that can
"unseal" us from Him. The Holy Spirit that sealed
us is our "earnest," it is our "down payment,"
so to speak, until our day of redemption at the rapture.
Why is it a lot of people can’t see they have done any
wrong, either in the eyes of men or the eyes of God? The bible
clearly states we are ALL sinners. Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as
by one man sin entered into the world, and death passed upon
all men, for that all have sinned: But, people won’t believe
that, they won’t believe the bible and they won’t
even believe they are all going to die someday. If you live,
you will die, someday, no matter who you are or how good you
think you are. It doesn’t matter if you are a scholar
who thinks there is no hell, even though it is mentioned 54
times in a King James Bible, you will die someday, it is only
one accident, one heartbeat, one war, or one diagnosis of a
terminal illness away.
I will tell you something else, you can read this site and
laugh if you want, you can make fun of the bible and deny it
if you want, you can deny that God exists, deny the Lord Jesus
Christ didn’t pay for your sins, you can deny there is
no Holy Spirit sealing those who believe in Christ’s death
at Calvary, but one day out there in the future, you WILL BOW
before God Almighty at the Great White Throne Judgment, and
You WILL confess Him as God. If you are not saved and your name
was not found written in the Book of Life or if you were not
saved by Grace through Faith during this dispensation, you Will
be thrown DIRECTLY into Hell, where you will spend eternity
with no relief.
I will give you the verse for that, Revelation 20:11 And I
saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose
face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found
no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand
before God; and the books were opened: and another book was
opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged
out of those things that were written in the books, according
to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in
it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:
and they were judged every man according to their works. 14
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is
the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in
the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live saith the Lord, every
knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
In closing today I would just like to say, Christ died for
the ungodly. He didn’t die for "good" people,
because He says there aren’t any. No matter who you are
or how bad you are, you have never reached a point that My Lord
and My God cannot save you, until you die, after that, the judgment.
If you will just believe this: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
and thou shalt be saved. Just believe that Jesus Christ was
the Son of God sent to earth to die instead of you and that
he died for your sins, was buried and resurrected, you will
be saved. Today, I have set before you, Life, and death. Choose
Life. Please choose life, please.
I cannot save you, your priest cannot save you, there is only
one that can save you: It is the Lord Jesus Christ.
