Please try to keep a few things in these verses in mind as
you read along and see if you don’t come to the same conclusion
at the end. In verse 55 where it is talking about the waves,
I believe it to be saying the sands will move with such veracity,
it will be like the sea. Notice there is no water involved in
the verse; it is a NOISE like great waters. A nuclear blast
or whatever God uses will indeed send the sands flowing together
like waves in a sea. Notice also in verse 55 there is a great
voice out of her that is destroyed, I believe it to be the antichrist,
I also believe him to be the ruler of Babylon, at a time in
the future. I will tell you why in a moment.
57 And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her
captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: they shall sleep
a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name
is the Lord of hosts. 58 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The broad
walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates
shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain,
and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary.
I believe this to be real walls, real fire, real people and
real death. Destroyed by the Lord of Hosts Himself.
59 The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the
son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah
the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign.
And this Seraiah was a quiet prince.
Date of the prophecy.
60 So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come
upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against
Babylon. 61 And Jeremiah said unto Seraiah, When thou comest
to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt read all these words; 62
Then thou shalt say, O Lord, thou hast spoken against this place,
to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor
beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.
It will never be inhabited again after this destruction, neither
man nor beast, this has never happened... anywhere over there...
or here.
63 And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this
book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the
midst of the Euphrates:
I believe with all my heart that stone is really in that river
and I believe somehow the words are there too because they were
spoken of the Lord. Did you also know there are angels bound
in chains under the Euphrates river...? (right now?) Rev. 9:14
64 And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not
rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall
be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
I have heard over the years some people think New York is Babylon,
some Rome, some the money system and so on, But what I’m
saying to you today is that all that might be true in some form
or another, but I really believe this Bible I read here, the
King James Bible, and I believe every word in it. I also believe
that Babylon as spoken of in Jeremiah is another Babylon or
revived Babylon in the future and it will be run by the antichrist.
I don’t see it being built right now but the spirit of
antichrist is very much alive in the middle east, as for the
building of the city? I believe it could start anytime. I wrote
before a few stories ago that there is treasure untold under
the ground in Iraq right about where all those rivers flow together,
someday, someone will find it and I believe it to be the new
money source for the known world, whatever it is.
In closing, there is another reason I believe this to be the
Literal city of Babylon, New York and Rome are not trying to
destroy the Jews today, this prophecy was spoken By God to Babylon
for destroying His people, that same hatred and spirit is making
its way back to center stage in the middle east right now and
I believe it is the same Babylon spoken of in Revelation Chapter
18, it will match Jeremiah 51, But don’t take my word
for it, read for yourself. If you stay with the Bible folks,
you can’t go wrong, you just can’t.
Pray for this country to turn back to the Lord, pray for peace,
pray for the poor and hungry, pray for the lost, the needy,
and pray for the Lord to come quickly.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.
