15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s
womb, and called me by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me,
that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred
not with flesh and blood: 17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem
to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia,
and returned again unto Damascus. (Paul is speaking of the days
he persecuted the church and reveals that God had called him
to preach among the heathen, Peter was never taught to preach
to the heathen.)
18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter,
and abode with him fifteen days. 19 But other apostles saw I
none, save James the Lord’s brother. (They were having
a hard time understanding what Paul was doing.)
20 Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God,
I lie not.
Folks, Paul’s Gospel is different; he calls it "MY
Gospel." 2 Timothy 2:8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the
seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
There’s also a day coming when God will Judge the secrets
of men by this Gospel. Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall
judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
The books Paul wrote Completed the bible. Colossians 1:25 Whereof
I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which
is given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God;
This is very important, it was given to Paul for you, a segmented
gospel in a segmented time just for you, one day this gospel
will be finished and the gospel that Peter preached will start
again in the tribulation, not until the church leaves.
There were 13 books written by Paul and I would pray tonight
that you would read them; they contain your salvation, your
rewards and your grace, all for you, all for today.
One day soon the church is going to leave and as I read the
headlines after the election today, war in Iraq, Arafat in a
coma, chip technology to be implanted in everyone, human disaster
in Darfur, well it can’t be that far away.
What was the gospel Paul preached?
1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that
which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according
to the scriptures;
Folks, this is the gospel I teach and I preach, I will never
teach another.
