Jeremiah 50:41 Behold, a people shall come from the north,
And a great nation, and many kings Shall be raised up from the
coasts of the earth.
I would like you to notice at this particular gathering of
armies, they are "from the North" and from many Kings
from all the coasts of the earth. Let me expound if I may. When
we, the U.S., entered Iraq, which way did we enter? From the
North, Mosul, Kirkuk and so forth. I would also like to mention
that the Nations from the coasts of the earth mentioned here
could very well be the U.S., which is coastal and a great nation,
Great Britain, which is coastal, Australia, etc. Do "They"
cause the destruction of Babylon? They do not! Why? Read with
me further.
Jeremiah 50:42 They shall hold the bow and the lance: They
are cruel, and will not shew mercy: Their voice shall roar like
the sea, And they shall ride upon horses, Every one put in array,
like a man unto battle, Against thee, O daughter of Babylon.
43 The King hath heard the report of them, and his hands waxed
feeble: Anguish took hold of him, and pangs as of a woman in
travail.
I firmly believe this was Saddam Hussein. Did you notice that
he ran and hid? Did you notice how confused and disoriented
he was when the U.S. GIs captured him? Still is. How is it "WE"
do not destroy Babylon? Because, it hasn’t been revived
yet. Watch the next few verses and you will see a "NEW"
King being put in charge and then as you read on watch and see
when they are destroyed it is by the "Medes." The
verses almost look the same but if you read them in light of
current events, I think you will see what I am trying to say.
Where are "WE" when Babylon’s revival comes?
We are not there because something happens and makes us all
run away; if we ran away and there is no further verses that
say "We" the coastal Kings came back, then "WE"
aren’t there when the final destruction takes place. Watch
this please.
Jeremiah 50:44 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the
swelling of Jordan. Unto the habitation of the strong: But I
will make them suddenly run away from her:
End of sentence. Folks, I firmly believe something terrible
is going to happen over there and we will have to pull those
troops out so fast. I don’t know if the U.S. gets a strike
or if someone launches an attack on Israel and they will retaliate.
If Israel does retaliate in the area with nuclear weapons, all
the troops will have to clear; Israel will not wait for anyone.
This is a very likely scenario. If a strike was launched on
Israel out of Iraq by anyone, that would leave our troops in
harm's way; it would also be the perfect scenario to remove
them from the region...
The next verse jumps ahead to the "NEW" king of Babylon,
the king of the revived Babylon, and God puts him in place.
It’s the antichrist himself. The antichrist is going to
be the King of Babylon, I really believe it. I don’t know
where he will come from or who he is, but he will be the king
there, watch these next verses.
Jeremiah 50:44 And who is a chosen man, that I may appoint
over her? For who is like unto me? and who will appoint me the
time? And who is that shepherd that will stand before me?
Folks, this cannot be the first king, the first king waxed
feeble, this New king tries to act like GOD.
45 Therefore hear ye the counsel of the Lord, That he hath
taken against Babylon; And his purposes, that he hath purposed
against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the least of the flock
shall draw them out: Surely he shall make their habitation desolate
with them. 46 At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth
is moved, And the cry is heard among the nations.
When Babylon is finally destroyed there will be a huge explosion.
Jeremiah 49:21 The earth is moved at the noise of their fall,
At the cry, the noise was heard thereof in the Red Sea.
That’s about 700 miles away.
In short, there is a lot more. I cannot begin to comprehend
all that is in these verses. I only know when I read them, this
is what I feel. Something is going to happen to run the U.S.
away. The antichrist is going to rebuild Babylon; Babylon will
be destroyed in the end of the tribulation by the Medes. It
will be destroyed so badly, no one will ever inhabit it again.
Look at the list of armies that will destroy her in the end,
I do not believe they are the same "coastal nations"
spoken of in chapter 50.
Jeremiah 51:27 Set ye up a standard in the land, Blow the trumpet
among the nations, Prepare the nations against her, Call together
against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; Appoint
a captain against her; Cause the horses to come up as the rough
caterpillars. 28 Prepare against her the nations of the Medes,
The captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the
land of his dominion. And the land shall tremble and sorrow:
For every purpose of the Lord shall be performed against Babylon,
to make the land of Babylon desolation Without an inhabitant.
Whenever the building of Babylon takes place, I don’t
think the church will be here, and from the looks of things
in Iraq, that really can’t be much longer.
Tell someone about the Lord today, time is short, very short.
