Coming Destruction of Babylon
Hello everyone, and thanks for coming. A few stories ago, I asked, Will the U.S. Destroy Babylon when it rises up in its greatness? As you have seen if you read the verses from the Bible, it will be rebuilt again. In all its glory. This time The Lord will destroy it to an utter desolation apparently by the hands of the Medes (Iran).
Isaiah 13:17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, Which shall not regard silver; And as for gold, they shall not delight in it. 18 Their bows also shall dash young men to pieces; And they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; Their eye shall not spare their children. 19 And Babylon, the glory of the Chaldees' Excellency, Shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. 20 It shall never be inhabited, Neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: Neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; Neither shall the shepherds make their fold there. 21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; And their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; And owls shall dwell there. And satyrs shall dance there. 22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: And her time is near to come, And her days shall not be prolonged.
Folks, I would like to add a few things here. I have written before of something happening that makes "US" suddenly flee away as is written in Jeremiah 50:41 and 50:42. The "US" I am talking about is our US Military that is in Iraq and is helping to reset the New Construction of Babylon at this present moment. We all know Babylon has been destroyed before but not to the extent it talks of in these verses. This is a particular time that is associated with the Lord having mercy on Jacob in the last days or latter days and restoring Israel.
There is another thing to keep in mind here. The Northern Army that is going to ascend down on Israel like a cloud is made up of the Russians and the Medes and they are almost utterly destroyed on the mountains of Israel when they come up. The Medes apparently have enough left to regroup and fight again (as in Nuclear Weapons) when they destroy Babylon. But why Babylon? Why not Israel? Well, it would appear that once of that fight will be enough for them but I will tell you during those days and times in the latter days, things will be happening so fast it will be hard to keep up with them. Whenever "we" suddenly flee away there appears to be a new change that takes place in Babylon that doesn’t sit well with the rest of the world, especially their Mullah neighbors. There appears to be a new king coming on the horizon after some things change in Babylon, it is none other than the son of perdition himself. Read these next verses with me. It is at this time the Lord lifts the "ROD" off the backs of the nation and especially Israel.
Isaiah 14:1 For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, And will yet choose Israel, And set them again in their own land: And the strangers shall be joined with them, And they shall cleave to the house of Jacob. 2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: And the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the Lord For servants and handmaids: And they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; And they shall rule over their oppressors.
Can you imagine what would be going on in a Muslim's mind when they read that in our Bible? They (Moab, Medes, Persians, Egyptians, Ethiopians, and every other people that ever held them captive) are going to be their servants in the millennium... Folks, you are seeing it right here in the Bible, I don’t make these things up, they are real and they are going to come to pass.
3:1 And it shall come to pass in the day the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve, 4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the King of Babylon and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! The golden city ceased! 5 The Lord hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.

7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing. 8Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
Watch this:
9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: It stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; It hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
Hell wakes up every King and moves up to meet him to show them here is the devil and watch their reaction to it.
10 And they shall speak and say unto thee Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? 11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: The worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. 12 How art thou fallen O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yey thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. 16 They shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; 17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; That opened not the house of his prisoners? 18 All the Kings of the nations, even all of them, Lie in glory, every one in his own house. 19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, And as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, That go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet. 20 Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, Because thou has destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: The seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
After this the seed of the devil and evildoers will be cut off.
21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; That they do not rise, nor possess the land, Nor fill the face of the world with cities. 22 For I will rise up against them, Saith the Lord of hosts, And cut of from Babylon the name and the remnant, And son and nephew, saith the Lord. 23 I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: And I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the Lord of hosts.
Well, there you have it. There is a Devil, there is a hell, there is an end to destruction and sins on earth, but those last few years will literally be hell on earth. But I want you all that are saved to remember a couple things. No matter what it looks like in Iraq, things are going to change, Drastically Change, and I pray for our troops not to be there. I also want you to know there is a hell and there are people in right now and someday they will be stirred up to meet the creation that thought he was higher than His Creator and let pride overcome him until it lead to the original earths destruction as in Genesis 1:2. Then led to man's downfall know as sin in the garden of Eden, and has continued down through the years until the day it speaks of here in Isaiah, when hell will come up to meet him and all the people in it will wonder...is this the man responsible for all the downfall of all of us in hell? The answer will be yes.
But I want you to know Jesus Christ purchased a pardon for you and me on Calvary for dying on a criminal's cross and taking our place so that we can be reconciled unto him. You need not got through this great tribulation coming on this world and you certainly need not go to hell. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. Believe that when he hung upon that cross all the sins of mankind were placed on him to forgive all the world.
Man's problem today is not their sin, it is their unbelief. You salvation was taken care and prepared for you from before the foundation of the World, and finished in A.D. 33 When Jesus Christ, the Sinless, Virgin Born Son of Almighty God died for your sins, so you could go free. He was the Great Messiah, He is the Great Messiah, He is was and always will be God Almighty Himself in three persons. Whether you understand it or not is not important right now if you are lost. What is important right now is to just believe it. Jesus was Israel’s Messiah and they didn’t recognize or accept Him, He would have brought the show to a close at that time if they had, but what about you and I? If Israel would have accepted Jesus, then immediately the antichrist would have come and we would have never been in the picture. We live in a special time of grace right now and it fast coming to a close, accept Jesus as your personal saviour right not, time is very short. Just believe on Him, I beg you.
The devil has been defeated!
