Have you ever known anyone who could never speak badly of someone
else no matter what they have done to you? This is such a woman.
Have you ever met anyone who will not speak a conversation without
testifying Jesus is lord? She is such a woman. My life would
not be what it is today without her. As a matter of fact I probably
wouldn’t be alive today without her; she pulled me through
some very dark times when I was at death’s door, and she
never knew she did it. I wanted to quit so many times and she
talked me back, not so much with what she would say but with
what she did: She loved me, she loves me. To me, that was the
most important thing in my life, and it is what made me hang
on and come out of it.
Without going into my life story, words fail to describe this
Woman and Mother to me. This is the best I can do for her today,
and maybe someday when We all get to Heaven, I will be able
to express my love and appreciation for her; I don’t feel
I could ever be capable of it as just a mere human being.
Today I have written this story for all the people in this
world who grew up without a Mother; I hope God had compassion
on you as He did to me. I would like for all people everywhere
to heal any rifts they have with their Mothers today and mend
your differences. Time is short; one day you could wake up and
not have her any longer and you will be sorry. This is the day
of Salvation and this is the day of forgiveness; let’s
all try to be a family again. It is the way God meant it to
be.
Ann Vaughn is my Aunt. My birth Mother was killed in a car
accident when I was 12 years old, and Ann is the only Mother
I have ever really known. Perhaps she was the one God wanted
me to have and for that, I thank Him; she has done a perfect
job and will certainly be rewarded by the King Himself for what
she has done for me. I love you, Ann. Thanks for loving me as
your own son.
